The ever-growing popularity of Yoga comes from its’ready accessibility to everyone; all ages and walks of life. Whether you are a complete beginner or have significant experience, the benefits of regularly practicing Yoga are clear and measurable. At Centenary Yoga our mission, and passion, is to make Yoga available to our whole community whilst helping students and proponents develop a greater understanding of this wholistic and spiritual practice.

From our comfortable, air-conditioned centre in Sinnamnon Park, we operate a comprehensive range of classes bringing many facets of meditation and Yoga to the residents of the Western Suburbs and Sherwood. From our dedicated class for beginners, Monday evenings; our end-of the-month Deep Restorative Yoga sessions (requires pre-booking), workshops, our weekly Women’s Circle, Yin Yoga and a variety of Yogic styles, we are sure to provide the classes and experiences that resonate with you.

Eight highly experienced Yoga teachers deliver our sessions, who themselves have studied and practiced under some of the most revered teachers in India and elsewhere around the world, bringing their wealth of knowledge and understanding of Yoga to the residents of Corinda, Jindalee and Westlake. Within the team, individual teachers focus on differing facets of Yoga, including traditional gentle and Slow Hatha Yoga, which is practiced at a serene pace and suitable for students of all levels of experience; Yin Yoga, considered a reflective practice where floor based postures are maintained for relatively long periods, and a more Dynamic Vinyasa style Yoga. And as a part of our 10 weekly classes, we provide a Friday evening meditation session that is delivered via Zoom – it’s simple to join in and you can do so from the comfort of your own home.

The benefits of Yoga – physical, mental and spiritual wellness, can best be experienced if you participate on a regular basis. To facilitate this, Centenary Yoga offers a selection of multi ticket passes, as well as the option of simply coming along and joining in by paying at the studio. Our selection of passes will give you the option to sign up for a specified number of classes, which can be taken at your convenience, or time framed memberships that allow you to attend as many classes as you wish within the specified time – 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.

Supplementary to our classes, we also offer 3 and 5 day Yoga and relaxation retreat based in the beautiful and tranquil setting of Springbrook Mountain, an easy distance from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. At this idyllic location, participants have the perfect opportunity to take a step back from their often hectic schedule of day to day life and participate in daily Yoga and meditation sessions, a massage and completely unwind and relax, whilst being fully catered for by our outstanding chef.

Yoga is for all, regardless of physical ability, age or experience and at Centenary Yoga we extend our warm welcome and gratitude to everyone that has chosen to learn and practice with us and be part of our Centenary Yoga community.
