Mindfulness – it’s meditation 101
My last post encouraged you to take 5 minutes each day to meditate. The practice I suggested - listening to sounds around you – is a Mindfulness practise. The label is misleading. Mindfulness is about getting out of your mind and back into your body – really engaging with your present experience.

The same basic rules apply to any mindfulness practise. Consciously relax the body, straighten the spine and notice when the mind hijacks your practise with stories and negativity. Gently bring the awareness back to the practise.
Yoga is union; reconnecting YOU with yourself through breath, movement and mindfulness.
