The chakra system can be viewed as a map of our energy body. There are7 main chakras and Swami Jasraj will guide you to explore the chakras, focusing on four main chakras: manipura (navel), anahata (heart), vishuddhi (throat) and ajna (eyebrow centre).

Each Chakra within the human body has a corresponding symbol, Mantra and colour, as well as a corresponding element.   In a state of balance, energy flows harmoniously though subtle energy channels and chakras in our bodies. This enhances our sense of wellbeing, good health and unlocks access to deeper levels of meditation.

The course is presented in a fun, down to earth manner using practical examples, questions and discussions during the weekly sessions.  Your guide, Swami Jasraj Puri is a senior yoga teacher who has been teaching Yoga since 1995. He spent 20 years living in an Ashram in India, studying and teaching yoga and yoga philosophy. In 2010 he became the first western Swami to be awarded the title of Mahamandaleshwar (scholarly saint) of the Mahanirvani Akhara, the highest title of the Haridwar Kumbh Mela order of monks. He is friendly and approachable and is keen to answer your questions and discuss your experiences.
