Hi Sherwood staff!

Welcome to 10 Weeks of Yoga, organised by Nikita and your Well-being team. Mondays 3.15-4pm.

Yoga is not competitive or ‘for flexible people.’  Everyone works at their own level. Classes will be pitched at beginner level with options for more advanced students. We’ll get your body moving and stretching, plus you’ll experience the calming effects of simple breathwork.  By the  close of our 10 weeks, you’ll have learnt a lot about Yoga, increased your flexibility and strength  plus expanded your breath and body awareness. Each session will include a short meditation and relaxation.

Please bring a mat & water bottle and wear comfortable clothes in which you can move easily. Socks and a jacket are recommended for the meditation and relaxation at the end of each session.

Your teacher Sarah is a high school teacher who founded Centenary Yoga in 2016 and has been practising Yoga for over 20 years. Sarah will teach you to care for any injuries during your practise and only recommend postures and movements which are safe and beneficial.
